Michael Shaw has been handcrafting stained glass artworks for over 40 years in Seattle, Washington. In 1990, Michael and his wife Sharon started selling Kaleidoscopes at The Pike Place Market, where people from all across the planet, and all walks of life have enjoyed these stained glass marvels. After 27 years of successful business, Michael and Sharon retired from Pike Place, but continue to work with beautiful stained glass, as it is a passion for them.
In 2018, Michael was the subject of an award winning documentary short film titled The Kaleidoscope Guy At The Market, directed by Russell Brown. Working on this documentary lit a new fire under The Kaleidoscope Guy, and Michael is creating new works like never before.
